We had a great time at Origins 2018, our first time having a booth! We had a lot of people come by to check out Get Off My Land! and we also announced our next title Town Builder: Coevorden!

Get Off My Land!

Get Off My Land! is a game of “Close Quarter Farming” as farmers compete for limited space and resources. The game takes place over the course of one year as you start your farm from a humble farmhouse and an empty field and build it up to generate enough money to claim yourself as the most successful farmer around.

Town Builder: Coevorden

Town Builder: Coevorden is loosely based on the Dutch city of Coevorden in the 1600's although it’s not meant to be a Dutch themed game. The city’s most distinct trait is the double moated star fortification surrounding the city.

Who Are We?

First Fish Games is a Vancouver-based board game publishing company that was founded by 3 friends who wanted to bring fun and fresh new games to the board game community through Kickstarter crowdfunding. With the success of their first game, "Get Off My Land!" they're working hard to design more games to share with all of their supporters, new and old. We can't wait to see what the future holds!

Gordon Oscar

Artist by day, artist by night. Wait... what? Yes, that's right. Gord works as a matte painter in the VFX industry. After painting all day, he goes home and paints some more. Exciting right? He does all the artwork for our games.

Stephanie Kwok

Also a matte painter in the VFX industry, Steph helps out with the artwork. She grew up in a printing family and uses her graphic design skills to help put together rulebooks.

Liam Smith

Software developer by day, Liam built our web site and works on some of the other less glamorous parts of the company. He also helps with game design and playtesting.
